FOUNDER AND CEO
A seasoned entrepreneur and executive with more than 40 years of experience launching and scaling companies across diverse industries. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Jay was honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2016 as Small Business Champion of the Year.
Jay is also the CEO of Murrieta Genomics, a genomic sequencing laboratory and innovation hub dedicated to supporting and incubating startups in the genomics and life sciences space. Throughout his career, he has served as a board director, C-level executive, and strategic advisor to both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including service on the California Governor’s Entrepreneurship Task Force. His background also includes managing a biotech investment fund and working as a licensed investment banker.
