About Us

Redtail Capital is led by founder and CEO Jay Goth. With over 40 years of experience in starting and building companies in many industries, he received an award from the SBA in 2016 as Small Business Champion of the Year.

Jay is the CEO of Murrieta Genomics, a genomic sequencing lab and incubator nurturing startups in the genomics space. He has served as a board director, C-level executive and advisor to several for-profit and nonprofit organizations and served on the California Governor’s Entrepreneurship Task Force. He has also managed a biotech investment fund and was a licensed investment banker.

Over the years, Jay has formed strong relationships throughout the business value chain and utilizes those relationships to bring value to the startup community. These relationships form the core of the Redtail Capital.

What We Do

As a strategic consultant primarily focused on companies in the Murrieta Innovation Center, we make capital introductions, provide objective advice and create exposure opportunities.
